Great Falls, Mr. Ronnie Hill,64, died Friday, June 8, 2012 at the WJBD VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2012 at the Great Falls Church of God with the Reverend James Freeman and Reverend Roy Puckett officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Dantzler – Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC and other times at the home 3154 Scott Road, Great Falls, SC 29055. Mr. Hill was born August 28, 1947 in Great Falls and was the son of the late William Thomas Hill and Thelma Hallman Hill. He attended the schools of Great Falls and was formally employed with Triplett Bridge Company. He was a veteran of the US ARMY during Viet Nam Era serving in Japan. Mr. Hill was a member of the Great Falls Church of God. He is survived by the Wife, Lynda B. Craig Hill of the home; seven sons, Roger Hill and Dennis Hill both of Union, Brian Hill, Doug Hill and Chad Hill all of Lancaster, Allen Baker of Gaffney, SC and Jamie Craig of Great Falls; a daughter, Patricia Craig of Great Falls; a sister Joann Smith and husband Ronald of Great Falls; eleven grandchildren; and Several Nieces and nephews.
