He was a graduate of Stratford High School, Stratford, CT and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Mr. Macker was a retired air conditioning/refrigeration maintenance worker with Sikorsky. He is survived by two sons, Harold J. Macker, III (Laura) of Waxhaw, NC and Steven Macker (Karen) of Shelton, CT; his mother, Mary Jane Macker of Port St. Lucy, FL; and six grandchildren.
