Great Falls Mr. Jimmy Leon “Jimbo” McMurray, 66, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at Springs Memorial Hospital. Services will be private. Mr. McMurray was born February 14, 1947 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of the late Perry Wesley McMurray andBetty Lou Rainey Soderland.He attended the schools of York County, SC and was formerly employed as a truck mechanic.Mr. McMurray was an avid fisherman. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara McMurray Childers of Mt. Airy, NC; one grandson, Dakota Childers of Galax, Virginia; one great granddaughter, Kaleigh Mae Robinson of Galax, Virginia; one sister, Michelle McMurray of Great Falls; and two nephews, Perry Beckham of Great Falls and William Bowen of Ft.
