Rubin "Junior" Hartley

GREAT FALLS, SC Mr. Rubin “Junior” Hartley, 79, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Tanglewood Nursing Home in Ridgeway, SC. A graveside service will be held3:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Reverend James Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:45PM Sunday, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Mr. Hartley was born in Gastonia, NC on September 15, 1934 and was the son of the late Rubin and Eva Henson Hartley. He was a service station attendant and worked with his grandfather for many years. Mr. Hartley was a member of Great Falls Church of God. He is survived by one brother, Gary Hartley and wife Sandra of Garden City Beach SC; one sister Irene McCowan of Great Falls SC; three nieces, Mary Ann Eudy, Jeanne McCowan and Candice Hairston; one nephew Barry Hartley and four great nieces.Mr. Hartley was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Hartley.
