Aileen C. Shepherd

Great Falls.... Mrs. Aileen C. Shepherd, 77, of 4109 Great Falls Hwy. diedSaturday September 5, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia. She was the widow of the late Hayden L. Shepherd Sr. The funeral will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Cameron and Pastor Patrick Blackmon officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born August 21, 1932, in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Bleeka Faulkenberry Carter. She graduated from Great Falls High School and attended Limestone College. She was office manager for Dr. H.P. Snead forsix-teen years and a member of the Eastern Star for fifty years. Surviving are two sons, Hayden Shepherd and his wife Andre of Irmo, and William C. Shepherd and wife Kelly of Blackstock, four grandchildren Elizabeth, Parker, Clint, and Kellyn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls, SC, 29055.
