GREAT FALLS, SC Mr. Albert Harvey “ Hap” Morrison, Sr, 87, died Thursday, September 9, 2010at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, SC.A graveside service will be held2:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00-2 :00 PM Sunday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born August 30, 1922 in Great Falls, SC, Mr. Morrison was a son of the late Smith Andrew Morrison and Mamie Wilson Morrison. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and Clemson College and retired from U.S. Government Civil Service as an industrial engineer in Warner-Robbins, GA. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of First Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday School Teacher. He is survived by his wife of over sixty-four years, Virginia White Morrison; one son, Albert H. Morrison, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; two grandsons, Albert Michael Morrisonand Peter Brian Morrison both of Atlanta, GA; and one sister, Minnie M. Baker of Pensacola, Florida.
