Richburg Mrs. Alma Boozer Reeves, 85, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Great Falls Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wayne Pruitt officiating.Interment will be private. Mrs. Reeves was born May 27, 1930 in Charlotte, NC and was a daughter of the late Sydney E. Boozer and Cassandra Asbury Boozer.She is the widow of Sheldon L. Reeves. Mrs. Reeves was a graduate of Central High School of Charlotte, NC class of 1948 and Stephens College of Columbia , MO.She was a homemaker and early in her career she worked with TWA Airlines and later worked for the Zoning and PlanningDepartment of Chester County.Mr. Reeves was a member of Great Falls Presbyterian Church andthe Eastern Star and a former member of Great Falls Serendipity Club. She is survived by one son, Alan Reeves (Rhonda) of Richburg, SC; one daughter, Sydney Ladd (John) of Cross Hill, SC; and two grandchildren, Amanda Reeves of Richburg, SC and Nancy Roberts (Andy) of Augusta, Ga.She was preceded in death by a sister, India.
