Great Falls Mrs. Annie Mae Kilgo Gwin, 104, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her home.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Batchelor and Rev. James Freeman officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 18, 2012, at the home at 5249 Great Falls Hwy., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Gwin was born in Chester County, SC on November 2, 1907 and was a daughter of the late Thomas Peay Kilgo and Mary Wilson Kilgo.She was a graduate of the Chester County schools and retired from J.P. Stevens Company.Mrs. Gwin was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls. She is survived by two sons, Thomas K. Gwin and wife Margie and Ralph F. Gwin and wife Gayle both of Great Falls; three grandchildren, Diane Mitchell and husband Buster of Great Falls, Taska J. Gwin of Salisbury, NC, and Amiel C. Gwin and wife Janet of Great Falls; two great grandchildren, Jamie A. Mitchell and Angela M. Smith and husband Richard; and six great-great grandchildren, Creighton Smith, Emery Smith, Paige Smith, Brantley Smith, Hannah Mitchell, and Harley Mitchell.She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Gwin, Jr. and a sister, Gertrude Noland. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 606 Dearborn St., Great Falls, SC 29055.
