Anthony "Tony" Ray Trotter

Great Falls Anthony Ray “Tony” Trotter, 71, died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. J.D. Wilson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 Pm Thursday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Tony was born February 7, 1953 and was a son of the late Basil Lee Trotter and Virginia Ferrell Trotter. He attended the schools of Chester County, SC and was employed with Essex until their closing. Tony was an avid fisherman and loved gardening, and yard work. He adored his children and grandchildren and his special “little boy”, dog, “Pee-Wee”. Tony was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Crystal Granger Trotter; three children, Gena Trotter (Frank) of Camden, SC, Travis Trotter of Great Falls, SC and Dillon Trotter of Great Falls, SC; two grandchildren, Ariel Finley and Kimi Finley both of Great Falls, SC; one sister, Linda Trotter of Great Falls, SC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Trotter and a sister, Phyllis Sims. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 1326 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
