A funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral with Reverend Donnie Tillman officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be held inGreenlawnCemetery,Great Falls, SC. Mr. Robbins was born in Chester, SC on September 29, 1918 a son of the late Banks M. Robbins, Sr. and Alice Peay Robbins.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School, a former member of Great Falls Presbyterian Church and was a retired conductor from Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.Mr. Robbins was the widower of Helen Lynn Robbins. He is survived by one son, James Michael Robbins and his wife Maria of Elgin, SC; one daughter, Judy Robbins Edelmann and her husband Ronald of Ocean Pines, MD; six grandchildren, Shelley, Michael, Brian, Holly, David and Christian; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Theda Cason of Asheville, NC and Dorothy Bartlett of Mosheim, TN.Mr. Robbins waspreceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Ann Robbins.
