Barbara Lee Coker Lucas

Mrs. Barbara Lee Coker Lucas, died Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service with Eastern Star Rites will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev. Cody Kopacz officiating. The family will receive friends also Wednesday at Dantzler Baker Funeral home from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM and other times at the home of Linda and Danny Gibson.

Mrs. Lucas was born September 25, 1935 in Rock Hill, SC and was the daughter of the late William Ezekiel Coker and Margaret Rebecca Collins Coker. She was a 1955 graduate of Great Falls High School and worked as a weaver for JP Stevens for over 20 years. She was co-owner of Great Falls Feed and Seed and their self-proclaimed security guard. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church Great Falls where she sang in the choir and was the GRASP church representative and a member of the caring and sharing committee. She was a member of the Great Falls Serendipity club, a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 211 and 213 and was former Worthy Maton of chapter 211.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Pete) Heffner, Carol Ann (Joey) Williams and Linda (Danny) Gibson all of Great Falls, SC; one brother, William C. Coker of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, Justin Williams, Kayla Lee, Joshua Heffner, Zachary Gibson and Kyle Heffner; seven great-grandchildren, Riley Williams, Joshua Lee, Jacob Lee, Hayes Williams, Drake Heffner, Jack Williams and Hudson Heffner and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 64 years, Archie Lucas, her sister, Margaret C. Bundy and her great-great-grandson, Kannon Fenner.
