Great Falls, SC: Mrs. Barbara Collins Watson, 76, died Wednesday, September 03, 2014 at Tanglewood in Ridgeway, SC.The funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.The interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born March 31, 1938 in Winnsboro, SC, Mrs. Watson was a daughter of the late William Wesley Collins and Estelle Dinkins Collins.She attended Mt. Zion Public School in Winnsboro, SC. She is survived by husband, Laverne Watson; one son, Tommy Varnadore (Diane) of Rock Hill, SC; three daughters, Debbie Robinson (Johnny) of Winnsboro, SC, Janet Tate of Great Falls, SC and Kathy Tapia (Lorenzo) of Newberry, SC; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Radford of Winnsboro, SC and Donna Chappelear of Great Falls, SC. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Erma Wyatt who resided in Galt, CA prior to her death in 2008 , Carolyn Mills of Blackstock, SC and Willett Collins of Winnsboro, SC.
