Great Falls Mrs. Beth R. Taylor, 70, died Friday, November 1, 2013, at Agape Hospice in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2103 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Chase Catledge, and Rev. Patrick Blackmon officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Taylor was born May 28, 1943 in Manning, SC and was a daughter of the late E.H. Raymond and Thelma Thorne Raymond.She was a graduate of Manning High School and attended Winthrop College.She directed and taught Second Baptist Church Kindergarten, worked for the Town of Great Falls as clerk for several years, and owned and operated Taylor’s Upholstery until 1997.Mrs. Taylor was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.She loved her God, her family, and her friends. She is survived by her husband, Jack Taylor; one son, Scott Taylor and wife Samantha of Great Falls; two grandchildren, Justin and Courtney Taylor; one sister, Jean Smelzle and husband Bill of Fort Mill; one brother, Gerald Raymond and wife Gloria of Manning; one sister-in-law, Arrie Lee Raymond of Manning; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two sons, Edward and Dwayne Taylor.
