Great Falls Betty Sue Edwards Roof Gunter, 76, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Springs Memorial Hospital.A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PMFriday, April 3, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Simpson officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PMFriday, April 3, 2015 in the sanctuary of the church. Ms. Gunter was born December 14 , 1938 in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late L. E. Edwards and Myron Jordan Edwards.She was a graduate of the schools of Great Falls and retired as an insurance agent having worked with Liberty Life Insurance.Ms. Gunter attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Great Falls. She is survived by four children; Trudy Wilson (Jimmy) of Great Falls, Eddie Roof (Jeannine) ofRock Hill, Patty Reid (James) of Great Falls, and Shawn Gunter (fiancé, Tonya) of Lancaster;eight grandchildren, Jenna Hunter, Nick Hunter, Amanda Reeves, Nancy Roberts, Jimmy Reid, Andy Gunter, Evan Gunter, and Brittaney Deason andtwo great grandchildren, Tinleigh Hunter and Briar Petty.Ms. Gunter was preceded in death by a grandson, Jamie Wilson and a sister, Mary Whitley.
