Betty Gayle Floyd Inman

Mrs. Betty Gayle Floyd Inman, 88, died Friday, May 29, 2026 at Prism Heath Richland in Columbia, SC. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Lake Wateree Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Floyd and Rev. Derek Bates officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the graveside.

Betty Gayle was born December 3, 1937 in Whiteville, NC and was the daughter of the late Edwin Lewis Floyd and Ona Lee Williams Floyd. She retired from Mill Creek Elementary School after teaching there from 1976-2002.

She is survived by her sons, Ricky Inman and his wife Lisa and Bill Inman and his wife Angie; her daughter, Barbara Davis and her husband Mike; seven grandchildren, Lindsay (Derrick) Ramsey, Drew (Melanie) Inman, Morgan Inman, Kasey (Austin) Jordan, Jimmy (Jordan) Inman , Allie Young and Josh Wicks; nine great-grandchildren, Colton Sullivan, Kolby Ramsey, Chase Ramsey, Kylar Ramsey, Ashlyn Inman, Emalyn Inman, Cayden Inman, Caroline Jordan and Nami Young. Betty Gayle is now in heaven with her beloved husband Dean and son Eddie along with her other family and friends., She will be greatly missed by many.
