Betty Jo Morris Varnadore

Mrs. Betty Jo Morris Varnadore, 91, died Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Prism Health Richland Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 22026, at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Crompton officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Betty Jo Varnadore and Terry Varnadore.

Betty Jo was born June 15, 1935 in Great Falls, SC and was the daughter of the late Mathias Edwin Morris and Winnie McCombs Morris. She attended the schools of Great Falls and was owner operator of Varnadore's Towing and Garage with her husband Ralph ( Buddy) Varnadore. Bettyjo sold Avon for many years and enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with her customers.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Terry Varnadore of Great Falls, SC; one brother, Harold Morris (Johnnielou) of Greenville, SC; one grandson, Michael Varnadore of Great Falls, SC; one great-granddaughter, Rayne V. Underwood (Steven) of W. Columbia, SC; three great-great grandchildren, Malaki, Colson and Cade. In addition to her husband Ralph (Buddy) Varnadore and her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Ralph C. Varnadore Jr. and two sisters and two brothers.
