Blackstock Mr. Billy “Ray” Henson, 50, died Monday, April 2, 2018.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Dr,. Marty Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday at Mitford Baptist Church.Interment will be private. Mr. Henson was born March 2, 1968 in Chester, SC.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was formerly employed as a chemical engineer.Mr. Henson was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline H. Henson; one son, Billy Ray Henson, Jr.and daughter-in-law, Amanda of Columbia; one daughter, Autumn Henson of Blackstock; his father, Billy Joe Henson of Great Falls; a sister, Debbie Blakley of Richburg; and one grandchild, Emmalynn Henson of Columbia.Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Baker Henson and a brother, Bobby Walden.
