Great Falls Mrs. Bobbie Joe Gladden Hollis, 77, died Saturday, October 17, 2020 at her home.All services will be private. Mrs. Hollis was born January 22, 1943 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Woodrow Gladden and Flossie Mae Outlaw Gladden.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was retired from Cinderella Knitting Mill.Mrs. Hollis was a member of Great Falls Church of God and was a former member of Great Falls Pentecostal Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.Bobbie was a good Christian lady who enjoyed helping others.She loved her family dearly. She is survived by three daughters, Lucy Holcomb of Edgemoor, Pamela Smith of Great Falls and Amy Short of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, special grandson, Cody Smith, Cory Smith, Kristen Jones, Katie Dobie, Courtney Holcomb, Dylan Short, and Brittany Short; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; one brother, Woody Gladden of Great Falls; one sister, Willene Goings of Rock Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harold Hollis and a son-in-law, Gary Smith.
