Mr. Bogan Stanley Smith, 73 died Monday, December 30, 2024 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Chase Catledge and Rev. Patrick Blackmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born February 01, 1951 in Lancaster, SC and was the son of the late Troy and Frances Privett Thompson. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from Mack Truck and USC. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He is survived by one son Stanley Todd Smith and his wife Michelle of Great Falls, SC and two granddaughters, Meredith and Madelyn Smith; one brother, Ronald Smith of Great Falls, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Smith and his sister-in-law Joann Smith; one brother Mark Thompson one sister Anna Laura Thompson.
