Great Falls Mrs. Brenda Joyce Hinson Walker, 76, died Monday July 19, 2021 at Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday July 23, 2021 at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Dr.Marty Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mitford Baptist Church. Interment will be private. Mrs. Walker was born August 16, 1944 in Chester County and was a daughter of the late James Ford Hinson and Evelyn Clara Carter Hinson.She attended the schools of Great Falls and was formerly employed with JP Stevens and later with Springs Industries. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years Jerry Lamar Walker; one son, Douglas Scott Walker ( Marina) of Lancaster, SC; two daughters, Kimberly Walker Richardson of Great Falls, SC and Rhonda Walker Holder (Tony) of Catawba, SC; one brother, Wayne Hinson of Great Falls SC; one sister, Carolyn Huffstetler of Lancaster, SC; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
