Brennie S. Tate BAMBERG:Mrs. Brennie Locke Starnes Tate, 70,and formerly of Great Falls died SundayNovember 23, 2008 at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mitford Baptist Chuch in Great Falls, SC.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Tate was born July 9, 1938 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Edward William and Jewell Hammond Starnes.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a member of Mitford Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Earl Tate; sons, Allen Tate of Fort Lawn and Bobby Tate of Winnsboro; daughter Barbara Jones of Bamberg; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Tate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:30 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls, SC.
