Brian Edward Harding

Brian Edward Harding, 61, died Monday, October 19, 2026 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 23, 2026 at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Ted Hodges and Kris McNett officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.

Brain was born August 15, 1965 in Lancaster, SC and was the son of Elmer Edward Harding, Jr. and Carolyn Christopher Harding. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and held an associate degree. He retired from Bowater after over 21 years as a millwright mechanic and served in the SCANG for over 10 years. Brain loved anything antique, especially cars and old trucks that he enjoyed restoring He was well known for his talking and teasing of friends and family. Brian was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Carolyn Denise Harding of Rock Hill, SC and his cherished friends, Chris Cook (Heather) of Lancaster, SC and their children, Kaylee Cook, Hadyn Cook and River Strickland whom he loved as his own grandchildren, his special friend Dora Jane Lucas of Kershaw, SC.
