Richburg Mrs. Carol Schroeder Bruce, 73, died Friday, July 22, 2016, at her home.All services will be private. Mrs. Bruce was born on July 30, 1942 in Mt. Prospect, Illinois and was a daughter of the late Henry Schroeder and Margaret Wesemann Schroeder.She was a graduate of the schools of Mt. Prospect, IL and a homemaker She is survived by two sons, James G. Bruce, II and John Frank Bruce (Barbara) both of Richburg ; one daughter, Debbie Lynn Shaw of Richburg; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Ron Schroeder (Kathie) of Colorado ; two sisters, Susan Lothary (Gunther) of Florida and Jean Schubert (Jerry) of Wisconsin.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gifford Bruce, Sr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 2275 India Hook Rd.
