Great Falls Mrs. Carol Jean Green, 67, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at her home.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Dantzler- Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Gonzalee Childers officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 PM on Friday, July 27, prior to the service. Mrs. Green was born September 21, 1944 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Perry McMurray and Betty Lue Rainey McMurray. She attended the schools of Chester County, was retired from Springs Industries as a weaver, and attended Second Baptist Church of Great Falls. She is survived by two sons, William Bowen and wife Anji of Fort Lawn and George Smart and wife Melissa of of Lake Wylie; one brother, Jimmy McMurray; and one sister, Michelle McMurray.
