Great Falls Mrs. Carolyn Threatt Raffaldt, 87, died Friday, June 22, 2018, at Springs Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Conley officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Raffaldt was born March 22, 1931 in Great Falls and was a daughter of the late Boyce Threatt and Mary Ivy Threatt.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School.Mrs. Raffaldt was retired from J.P. Stevens and was also a homemaker.She was a member of Great Falls Nazarene Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.Mrs. Raffaldt enjoyed gardening and flowers and was a caregiver to her family members for several years. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Dassaro (Mike) of Lancaster, Diane McBride (Roger) of Lancaster and Sara Hollingsworth (John) of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews..Mrs. Raffaldt was preceded in death by her husband of over 67 years, Lex M. Raffaldt and a grandson, Billy M. Dassaro. Memorials may be made to Garden Sanctuary Church of God, 831 Cedar St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
