Great Falls Mrs. Carolyn Hopper Snead, 75, died Friday, January 03, 2020 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. All services are private. Mrs. Snead was born January 17, 1944 in Lancaster, SC and was a daughter of the late James Elliott Hopper and Helen Cooper Hopper. She graduated from Great Falls High School and attended York Tech were she received her Surgical Tech Degree. Carolyn worked at Charlotte Memorial Hospitalfor many years and later was a nurse for Dr. George David in Lancaster, SC. She is survived by two sons Tommy Baker Jr. (Amy) and Kevin Loflin of Great Falls, SC; one daughter, Tammy Starnes ( Hank) of Great Falls, SC; three grandchildren, Tommy Baker “Tom”, Clayton Starnes and Arden Baker all of Great Falls, SC; two brothers, Terry Hopper and Marion Harris of Great Falls, SC; one sister, Louise Harris of Great Falls, SC.
