Charlene Mcintire Roberts

Great Falls: Charlene McIntire Roberts, 78, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, SC. A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Reverend Marty Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends also Saturday from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. Roberts was born in Lebanon, IN on December 7, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Delzie Burton McIntire and Hassell Newman McIntire. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL and was retired from Griffin Management Corporation as a clerk. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Great Falls Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband of over sixty years, Earl W. Roberts, one son, Richard E. Roberts(Eda) of Eastover, SC; three daughters, Darlene R. Bailey(Robbie) of Lancaster. SC, Nancy R. Baker(Bob) of Rock Hill, SC, and Barbara R. Towery(Lewis) of Great Falls, SC; nine grandchildren Richard Roberts, Jr, Rachel Wobse, Tabitha McMurray, Bobby , Bradley, Sarah and Bridget Baker and Jade and L.T. Towery;three great-grand children, Blake Jones and Kaden and Kelly Wobse; four sisters, Mariam LaPorte of W. Palm Beach, FL, Joyce Ward and Janet Panazze of Tampa, FL and Jackie Crawford of Clearwater, FL; one brother, Dan McIntire of N. Fort Myers, FL. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Ann Roberts. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N.
