Great Falls Mr. Charles Wayne “Chuck” Price, 57, died Thursday, September 26, 2019.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2019, at Heath Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Marty Roberts officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 6427 Richburg Rd., Great Falls, SC 29055. Mr. Price was born February 12, 1962 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of Thomas “Tee” Price and the late Jackie Mackey.He was a 1980 graduate of Great Falls High School and was formerly employed with Ray’s Automotive in Chester with 20 years of service.Mr. Price was an avid race car fan and was a former drag strip race car driver.He was a beloved auto machinist for race cars. In addition to his father, , he is survived by two daughters, Beth Price and Autumn Price both of Lancaster; two sons, Clayton Price of Great Falls and Warren Dyches of Lancaster; one sister, Amanda Price of Great Falls; three brothers, Steve Price (Angel) of Chester; Kiely Mackey of Baltimore and Shane Price of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Maraya Hinton, Riley Price, Kolby Price, Jaxson Small and an expected baby girl; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by step-father, Stover Mackey and his step mother, Pat Price.
