Christopher David Timmons

Christopher David Timmons, 36, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2025, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.

Christopher was born August 2, 1989.  He was a graduate of Great Falls High School Class of 2008 where he played on the gold team.  He also attended York Teach.  Chris was employed with Giti Tire as a laser tech.  He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and an avid golfer.  He loved the SC Gamecocks.  Chris also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball where his son played and he enjoyed playing softball.  Chris was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  He was a man of great faith who lived by God's word and was not ashamed to share the Gospel.

In addition to his parents, Charles Edward Timmons, Sr. (Kimberly) and Mary Bernice Weston Timmons, he is survived by one son, Michael Ryan Timmons of Fort Lawn, SC; a brother, Charles Edward "Eddie" Timmons (Julia) of Gaffney, SC; two nephews, Brian Timmons and Hunter Timmons; his uncle, James "Hawkeye" Weston (Christy) of Lake Wateree, SC; a cousin, James Weston, Jr. of Lake Wateree, SC; and ex-wife, Breanna Sanders of Fort Lawn, SC.  Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents.
