Great Falls Mr. Clifton Horace McMullan, 93, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Brian Hovis, Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev. Howard Wimmer officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday at First Baptist Church. Mr. McMullan was born March 29, 1922 in Elbert County, Georgia and was a son of the late Clifton Ezra McMullan and Clara Sue Stratton McMullan.He was a graduate of Iva High School, Iva, SC and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II.Mr. McMullan retired from Duke Power as a hydro plant supervisor after 43 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a life-long member of Great Falls Masonic Lodge #277. Mr. McMullan is survived by one son, Dalton McMullan (Carolyn) of Belmont, NC; one daughter, Diane McMullan Austin of Great Falls; four grandchildren, Jonathan McMullan (Shelly) of Fountain Inn, SC, Heath McMullan (Jessica) of Charlotte, NC, Susan Roberts (Marty) and Holly Lloyd (Paul) both of Great Falls, SC; six great grandchildren, Jamie Lei Hinson (J.B.), Brady McMullan , Kaylee Lloyd, Erin McMullan, Zac Roberts and Sara McMullan; four brothers, Gilbert, Joel, Harold and Dale McMullan all of Iva, SC; and four sisters, Roberta Kelley, Geraldine Gentry, Linda Lewis all of Iva, SC and Betty McAlister of Honea Path, SC.He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Clinkscales McMullan and a sister, Margaret Simpson.
