Monroe, Georgia Mrs. Connie Mae Wright Canty, 63, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018, at her home in Monroe, Georgia.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Great Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC with Rev. Joe Carter officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Mrs. Canty was born in Logan, WV and was a daughter of the late Willie S. Wright and Mandy O’Neal Wright.Mrs. Canty was formerly employed as a spinner and weaver in the textile industry and was also employed in the food industry. She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth “Lisa” Macky of Monroe, Ga.; two grandchildren, Christopher Blake Segars (Kristen) and Dillon Thomas Romain both of Monroe, Ga.; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Sue Wright of Great Falls, SC and Amanda Lynn Carter (Robert) of Rock Hill, SC; and three brothers, Richard Wright (Martha), Virgil Wright (Joyce) and Willie “Eddie” Wright (Beulah) all of Great Falls, SC.
