Constance Mosley Brown

Constance Mosley Brown, 77, died Monday, April 1, 2024, at MUSC-Lancaster Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024, at Lando Cemetery with Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home and immediately following the service at the graveside. Mrs. Brown was born January 9, 1947 in Lando, SC and was a daughter of the late Fred Mosley and Ruth Hinson Mosley. She was a graduate of Lewisville High School and York Tech. Mrs. Brown was an avid shag dancer. She enjoyed going to the beach and listening to beach music. She also enjoyed watching birds and talking to her friends. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was a member of Second Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Preston Wallace "Hambone" Brown, Sr.; two sons, Preston Wallace Brown, Jr. (Angie) of Blythewood, SC and Jason Brown of Great Falls, SC; one granddaughter, Megan Shettle (Kenny) of Blythewood, SC; two great grandchildren, Emerson Shettle and Ella Shettle of Blythewood, SC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Mosley and two sisters, Ruby Ernandez and Linda Mahaffey.
