Funderburk, 81, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, SC.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church, Buford, SC with Rev. Sam Kennington officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Born September 21, 1928 in Kershaw, SC, Mrs. Funderburk was a daughter of Lonnie and Essie Love Gardener.She attended the schools of Kershaw, SC and was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls, SC. She is survived by her son, Melvin Kennington of Great Falls, SC; one grandson, Chris Kennington; two great grandchildren, Jackson and Lily Grace Kennington; three sisters, Ethel Yarborough of Fort Lawn, SC, Mary Miller of Charlotte, NC, and Pat Blackmon of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, Bruce Gardener of Pageland, SC and David Gardener of Columbia, SC.
