Dale Ted Beer

Richburg: Dale Ted Beer, 85, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Providence Hospital, Columbia, SC. A funeral will be held 4:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2010 at Mt. Prospest United Methodist Church with Reverend John Rumsford and Reverend Doug Chambers officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Born in Berne, Indiana, August 4, 1924, Mr. Beer was the son of the late Wilbert Beer and Della Zurcher Beer. He attended the schools of Decatur, Indiana, was a Veteran of the US Army having served during WWII and a member of Mt. Prospect United Methodist Church. Mr. Beer was a retired Dairy Farmer and a member of Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife of over 60 years, Betty Lichtenberger Beer, three sons, Mike Beer and his wife Becky of Great Falls, SC, Greg Beer of Great Falls, SC, Randy Beer and his wife June of Columbia, SC; two daughters, Angela Beer and her husband Dwaine Holden of Charlotte, N.C. and Arlynn "Buffy" Neal and her husband Joey of Blackstock, SC; two grandchildren, Tracy Beer of Charlotte, NC, and Amy Tate and her husband John of Ridgeway, SC; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Matthew Tate both of Ridgeway, SC; two sisters, Vera Nolan of St. Marys, OH, Lucille Clem of Decatur, Indiana and one brother Gerald Beer and his wife Glenda of Decatur, Indiana. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM at Mt. Prospect United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Mt.
