Great Falls Mr. David Patrick Duncan, 63, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Georgia.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2018, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. John David Wilson, Rev. Grayson Blackwell and Rev. Lowrie Welton officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Friday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6924 Wateree Rd., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Duncan was born August 9, 1954 in Marion, NC and was a son of Dollie Roberts Duncan and the late James E. Duncan of Great Falls.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School, York Tech and AthensTechnical College.Mr. Duncan was owner and manager of Thunderbolt Industries in Watkinsville, Georgia.He was a member of Ashford Methodist Church and the Santa Claus Association of Georgia. In addition to his mother, Dollie Roberts Duncan of Great Falls, he is survived by three daughters, Emily D. Clanton (Brett) of Greenville, SC, Rebecca D. Sprouse (Brian) of Boiling Springs, SC and Sarah Duncan of Watkinsville, Ga; two grandchildren, Brody and Ryleigh Sprouse; a brother, Jesse W. Duncan of Great Falls; and his longtime partner, Wanda Beasley of Watkinsville, Ga.Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles E. Roberts and a brother, Paul Roberts.
