David Clyde Faile

Pastor David Clyde Faile, 75 of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 8, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave, Great Falls, SC 29055. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM also Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Pastor Faile was born in Lancaster County on June 11, 1948, a son of the late George and Louise Mackey Faile. He attended the schools of Great Falls; SC. Pastor Faile gave his heart to Christ in 1979 and answered the call of God to preach in 1981. He faithfully preached the gospel and pastored in the Church of God of Prophecy for over 36 years until his retirement in 2015.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary McManus Faile, their 2 children Dennis Faile and Denise (Phil) Bolin and their cherished grandchildren, Samuel and Jacob Bolin and brother, Dexter Faile. His brothers, Michael, Eugene, and Jerry Faile preceded him in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pastor Faile's honor may be made to the S. C. Church of God of Prophecy Retired Ministers' Fund (SCCOGOPRMF), 6 Elmhurst Rd, Greenville SC 29611.
