David Ott GREAT FALLS:Mr. David Isiah Ott died Sunday May 3, 2009 at his residence.He was 74. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. N. G. Dobson officiating. Mr. Ott was born May 13, 1934 in Fairfield County, SC, a son of the late Walter I. and Isabelle Craig Ott.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the US Army during Korea.He was retired as a roofer with Del Mac Roofing of Monroe, NC. Surviving are his wife, Verla Mills Ott of Monroe, NC; sons, Randy Ott of Monroe, NC and Bobby Ott of Monroe, NC; one step-son, Larry Mangun of Monroe, NC; 3 grandchildren, Randy Jr., Lauren, Matthew Ott all of Monroe, NC; brothers, Jimmy Ott of Great Falls, SC, Mikey Ott of Great Falls, Gerald Ott of Winnsboro, and Harold Ott of Daytona Beach, FL; and sisters, Irene Windham of Winnsboro, SC, Evon Boone of Bonetown, SC, Jenelle Clingball of Columbia, SC, and Rachel Woods of Great Falls, SC.He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Ott and stepdaughter, Catherine Pressley.
