Fort Lawn Mrs. Deborah Marie Morris Armstrong, 57, died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2017, at Fort Lawn Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Linderman officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Friday in the fellowship hall of the church. Mrs. Armstrong was born December 31, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts and was a daughter of Daniel S. Morris and the late Evelyn Melanson Morris.She was a graduate of Everett High School in Massachusetts and retired as a senior secretary having worked in banking for many years.Deborah loved animals and enjoyed crocheting.She was a member of Fort Lawn Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of more than 31 years, Harold J. Armstrong; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Webb of Fort Lawn; a brother-in-law, Ronald Joseph Armstrong (Geraldine) of Sanford, Maine; and a cousin, Susan Martinez of Memphis, Tenn.
