Great Falls Mr. Dewey Nathaniel Flynn, 63,died Monday, April 20, 2015, at Palmetto Health Baptist.A memorial service will be held at his home at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2015, with Rev. Ted Hodges officiating.Visitation will follow service until 8:00 PM. Interment will be private. Mr. Flynn was born June 30, 1951, in Lancaster, SC, and was the son of the late George Washington Flynn and Nell Rogers Flynn.He was a graduate of Great Falls High, class of 1970, and worked with Duke Power for over 27 years.He also worked with Continental Tire. He is survived by three daughters, Dewana Flynn Looper (Thomas) of W. Columbia, SC, Tiffany Flynn Burghardt (Jerod) of Fort Meade, MD, and Dawn Butler (Cejing) of Lexington, SC; four grandchildren, Ryan Burghardt, Jacob Looper, Trent Looper, and Nathan Burghardt; two brothers, Keith Flynn and Rod Flynn both of Great Falls;one sister, Chrystal Flynn of Kershaw, SC, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Tucker. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
