Great Falls Mr. Donald Wayne Temple, 67, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Springs Memorial Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC.The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, January 21, at the home of Brenda Dry, 208 Francis Avenue, Great Falls, SC. Mr. Temple was born May 28, 1950 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of Frances Temple and the late John T. Temple, Jr.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and he attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia.Mr. Temple was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served in Vietnam.He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was an avid coin collector. He is survived by his mother, Frances Blackwell Temple of Great Falls; one brother, Jerry Temple (Pam) of Great Falls, one sister, Brenda Dry of Great Falls; four nephews, Eric Dry (Shana), Chuck Dry, Justin Temple (Britney) and Jake Temple (fiancé, Hannah Morgan); and one niece, Jordan Temple.
