Dot dearly loved and sacrificed for her children after the death of her husband at the age of 27. She retired from JP Stevens in Great Falls after 37 years. She worshiped and held her grandchildren close to her heart. She was joyful in loving her great and great-grandchildren whether near or far. Mom faithfully trusted in the Lord and thanked him daily for his faithfulness. Mom loved her church and church family as a dedicated member. She held tight the Women’s Sunday School Class and kept in touch with them. She delighted in sending cards to meet the occasion to each need in the church. She loved helping in Vacation Bible School. Throughout her years in Great Falls she was busy making her 10-layer chocolate cake from Thanksgiving to Christmas for the community. She was always available to help any friend or neighbor who needed transportation to doctors, hospitals, grocery store, etc. Mom always put others before herself and enjoyed her Gospel music, listening to Charles Stanley, attending a Gaither concert with her sisters, and sitting on her porch rocking and enjoying friends or the beauty of nature.
