Great Falls Mrs. Dorothy Broome Looper, 86, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Chester Regional Medical Center.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Heath Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Batchelor officiating .The family will receive friends following the service at the home at 6212 Richburg Rd., Great Falls, SC. Born July 17, 1924 in Great Falls, Mrs. Looper was a daughter of the late James Broome and Irene McWaters Broome.She was a graduate of Great Falls High Schooland a member of Heath Chapel United Methodist Church.She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Donald Wayne Looper of Great Falls; two daughters, Barbara Parrish of Chester and Patti Ingram and her husband Ben of Indian Land; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister, Edna Williams.She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Looper and a son, Gary Looper.
