Great Falls Mr. Earl “Junebug” Heffner, Jr., 88, died Saturday, October 24, 2015, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015, at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Heffner was born November 10, 1926 in Great Falls, SC and was a son of the late Earl Heffner, Sr. and Jeanette Broom Heffner.He attended the schools of Great Falls and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in World War II on the USS North Carolina.He retired from J.P. Stevens.Mr. Heffner was a life member of Great Falls Masonic Lodge #277. He is survived by one son, Danny E. “Pete” Heffner (Sandra) of Great Falls; one daughter, Sandra Collins (Bubba) of Great Falls; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
