Great Falls Mr. Earl William Roberts, 85, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Thursday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Roberts was born on January 17, 1932 in Chester County, SC and was a son of the late Floyd Roberts and Stella Poore Self.He attended the schools of Chester County and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. Mr. Roberts was retired as a truck driver for Ebert’s Sportswear.He was a member of Great Falls Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by one son, Richard Roberts (Edalicia) of Eastover, SC; three daughters, Darlene Bailey (Robbie) of Lancaster, SC,Nancy Baker (Bob) of Rock Hill, SC and Barbara Towery (Lewis) of Great Falls, SC; nine grandchildren, Richard Roberts, Jr. (Harmony) of Aviano Air Base, Italy, Rachel Wobse (Ken) of Great Falls, Montana, Tabitha McMurray of Great Falls, SC, Bobby Baker (Judson Horner) of Greenville, SC, Bradley Baker of Pittsburgh, PA, Sarah Baker of Cleveland, OH, Bridget Baker of Rock Hill, SC, Jade McAllister (James) of Great Falls, SC, and L.T. Towery of Great Falls, SC; five great grandchildren, Kaden Wobse, Kelly Wobse, Declan Roberts, Blake Jones and Nicolas McAllister.Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Charlene McIntire Roberts and a daughter, Patsy Ann Roberts.
