Great Falls Edna M. Brunson Lewis, 87, departed from her tired and weary body and mind and entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 6, 2012.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Catoe officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Sunday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC 29055. Mrs. Lewis was born August 12, 1925 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late John Green Mobley and Ada Weaver Mobley.She attended the schools of Chester County and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She leaves to cherish so many precious memories, her children, Diane Brunson (John)Etters of Columbia, Sandra Brunson (Doug)Lucas of Lancaster; J. Wesley (Abby) Brunson of Great Falls, Richard Wayne (Patricia) Brunson of Lancaster, Bobby Lewis of Fort Mill, and William Lewis of Jonesville; six grandchildren, Hallie A. Sneed, Brandon N. Lucas, J.W. Brunson, Stiles H. Brunson, Brittany L. Brunson, and Katie L. Brunson; one great-grandson, Braylen Lucas; and one brother, Ralph Mobley of Norway, SC.She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Thomas A. Lewis and John W. Brunson, Sr.,two sisters, and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Ste. 100, West Columbia, SC 29169.
