Edwin Daniel Payseur

Blackstock Mr. Edwin Daniel Payseur, 66, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Harris and Dr. Jim McClure officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home at 2856 Great Falls Hwy., Blackstock, SC. Mr. Payseur was born in Gaston County, NC on May 7, 1947 and was a son of the late Earnest A. Payseur and Viola Mullenaux Payseur .He attended the schools of Gaston and Forsyth Counties in NC, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war, and was formerly employed by B&K Construction. Mr. Payseur was an avid hunter and a great gunsmith. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Barbara Hopkins Payseur; and three brothers, Robert Payseur of Greensboro, NC, Everett Payseur of Elkin, NC, and Toney Payseur of Great Falls.He was preceded in death by a son, Marlin Payseur; a brother, Larry K.
