Dovey Elaine Harrison Best, 75, died Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Anderson, SC. A graveside service will be held at11:00 Am Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.

Born November 3, 1950, Elaine was a daughter of the late Donald Harrison and Edna Neely Harrison. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School Class of 1969 and also Emanuel Business College. She was retired from Duke Energy. Elain loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by one son, Rockford Best (Lisa) of Simpsonville, SC; a brother, Donahue Harrison (Mary) of Gray Court, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
