Elaine Blackmon Hollis, 75, died Sunday, January 5, 2025, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Adams and Rev. Tommy Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. Hollis was born October 5, 1949 in Rock Hill, SC and was a daughter of the late William Lewis Blackmon and Clara Varnadore Blackmon. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from Chester County School District as a cafeteria server. Elaine was a member of Great Falls Church of the Nazarene. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by two daughters, Kim Hollis and Debbie Mills both of Great Falls; five grandchildren, Megan and D.J. Mills and Kayla, Bryan and Katlyn Coleman; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Ragsdale of Great Falls, Christine Morrison (Robert) of Great Falls; Irene Baker of Ridgeway and Shirley Morrison of Cheraw; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Burns Hollis; a grandson, Christopher Mills; and two brothers, William Blackmon and Jimmy Blackmon.
