Fort Lawn Eleanor Faye Spinks Whitaker died Monday, May 23, 2011 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Fort Lawn Baptist Church with Rev. Stacey Hinson and Rev. Ted Hodges officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thrusday, May 26, 2011 at the home of David and Crystal Banks, 5958 William Martin Rd., Richburg, SC. Mrs. Whitaker was born in Fort Mill, SC and was a daughter of the late Johnny Columbus Spinks and Edna Salley Miskelly Spinks.She was a graduate of the Chester County schools, attended York Technical College, and retired from textiles and home health care.She was a member of Fort Lawn Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Vicky Trent and her husband John of Fort Lawn; two sons, Terry Banks and his wife Rhonda of Fort Lawn and David Banks and his wife Crystal of Richburg; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and two brothers, Michael Spinks of Fort Lawn and and Richard Spinks of Liberty Hill.She was preceded in death by a son, Darryl Banks and a daughter, Laura Lynn Banks.
