Lancaster, SC Mrs. Eliza Lathan Johnson, 99, died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at her home.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Westside Cemetery in Lancaster with Rev. Jeff Williams officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Sharon Haile, 1605 Old Pardue Rd., Lancaster, SC. Mrs. Johnson was born October 23, 1919 in Fairfield County, SC and was a daughter of the late Edward L. Lathan and Lizzie Rogers Lathan.She was retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Johnson was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Robert Jones of Lancaster; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Houser of Cowpens, Mrs. Mary Alice Eaton and Mrs. Brenda Lee Clark both of Spartanburg; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Grady L. Johnson; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Deaton and Mrs. Bernice Pardue; and two sons, Charles Jones and Wayne Jones.
